Praise for Adeline

"Vincent is assured enough to do a rare thing: to really ventriloquise Woolf on the topic of her work and creative imagination. . . .Vincent writes with astonishingly fluid conviction and insight"

 -The Independent, UK

"[An] electrifyingly good novel....by a master of discomfort."

-New Statesman, UK

“Adeline exudes an intoxicating force. Vincent has accessed a hidden channel into the soul of this troubled genius. Her prose will take your breath away. This is not merely a book, this is great literature."

-Vick Mickunas, BookNook WYSO

"[T]he reader is caught in an exquisite web of language . . . Woolf’s internal monologues are sublime. . . capturing the authenticity of [her] wit and wicked turn of phrase . . . is a tour de force."

 -Carol Lovekin, Readthisandweep.livejournal.com

“Adeline is a moving....portrait of what it means to be brilliant and tormented. Understanding Woolf’s darkness is as difficult as understanding some of her work, but Vincent rises to the challenge, creating something beautiful in the process.”
